Job Description

We’re a profitable, scaled SaaS company with 1,700+ employees worldwide, expanding our market insights and intelligence. This is a rare opportunity to shape and scale a growing strategic marketing function that has strong executive support and investment. You have the chance to define what excellence looks like.

To fuel our expansion and drive market success, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic global Market Research Manager.

This is a critical role with high visibility across the company and high impact on the business. You will create and share global market intelligence. You will identify key needs and perceptions of EcoVadis prospects and customers, and share insights across internal teams including executives, strategy, product management, revops, sales, sales enablement, customer support, marketing and other teams.

Key Responsibilities

Create and run multiple market research projects globally, from brief to actionable outputs:

  • Work across internal teams to identify research needs and concepts. Communicate and evolve concepts into solid research briefs designed to deliver impactful insights.
  • Craft succinct and impactful research briefs with clear target audiences, goals, timelines, milestones and deliverables. Develop and manage project plans.
  • Manage external research firms and internal project teams across functions and geographies to deliver insights at speed as needed.

Translate market insights to actionable outputs:

  • Identify customer and prospect needs, gaps, pain points and perceptions.
  • Distill complex research results into key insights and clear and actionable recommendations using clear and impactful writing.
  • Share insights on an ongoing basis and as needed with internal teams like executive leadership, product management, strategy, frontline, RevOps, and across marketing.
  • Conduct and share competitive analyses as needed.

Champion findings, and contribute to thought leadership and broader marketing initiatives:

  • Create a system for easy sharing of key market insights and knowledge across teams.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and content development.
  • Support broader marketing activity like press, events, webinars, and campaigns.

Since we’re a rapidly-growing business, you may contribute to other projects as the need arises.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or masters degree in research, marketing, business or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in market research [required] in B2B Tech or SaaS [highly preferred]
  • Comfortable creating and running multiple research projects from concept to actionable output.
  • Solid experience crafting succinct and impactful research briefs and giving clear guidance to external firms.
  • Solid knowledge of different research methodologies (quant & qual, AI-powered, offline) and can recommend the right methodology mix to achieve different research goals.
  • Excellent skills distilling complex research results into key insights and clear and actionable outputs and recommendations. Clear writing skills are essential.
  • Project management experience in a cross-functional environment. Culturally sensitive, able to manage project teams across functions, geographies and working styles.
  • A self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial and highly collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail, drive for quality, and ability to deliver results quickly.
  • [preferred] A passion for ESG initiatives. Knowledge of sustainability and resilience strategies is a plus.
