Job Description
The role of the Global IT PMO Project Lead is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, in alignment with business requirements and in collaboration with the Functional Business Leads. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects as planned. The Global IT PMO Project Lead will also define and/or assist in defining project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefits of IT system investments.
Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables supporting business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Communicate project expectations clearly and timely to team members and stakeholders.
- Liaise continuously with project stakeholders.
- Meet with decision-makers, systems owners, and end users to define requirements and resolve issues.
- Manage project expectations and plan timelines and milestones.
- Track milestones and deliverables, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues.
- Define success criteria and share throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct lessons-learned sessions and create recommendation reports.
- Develop and follow best practices and tools for project management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Assess need for additional staff or consultants and recommend accordingly.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and adjust as necessary.
- Plan, design, develop, and deploy new and existing applications.
- Research software and hardware to support purchasing decisions.
Operational Management
- Manage project development from start to finish.
- Develop project plans and communication documents.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities.
- Identify and resolve team issues and conflicts.
- Manage dependencies and critical paths.
- Deliver progress reports, documentation, and presentations.
- Manage scope changes, crises, and contingency plans.
- Coach and motivate team members and contractors.
- Build and grow vital business relationships.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and change management processes.
Qualifications
Education
- University degree or college diploma in business administration, management information systems, or equivalent experience.
- Business Analysis training.
- Project Management Fundamentals training.
Assets
- PMP Certification.
- ITIL Foundations Certification.
Work Experience
Required: 5+ years in deployment and support of software system implementations globally.
Knowledge
- Understanding of business application platforms.
- Experience with systems like HFM, Hard Dollar, InEight Cloud, SharePoint, Intelex Safety, HRIS, Oracle Fusion, E-Front LMS, PowerBi.
- Application administration experience with Oracle (Primavera, Hyperion, Fusion), InEight Cloud, Intelex is beneficial.
- Proven experience in software/hardware system design, development, and implementation.
- Experience in Business Analysis, requirements gathering, and solution execution.
- Project management skills; Business Analysis and Project Management training or PMP is an asset.
- Fluent in English.
