Plusgrade seeks an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to lead global tax operations from our Montreal office. You will design end-to-end indirect tax processes, review contracts, and establish positions across multiple jurisdictions to support international expansion.

You will own Canadian returns, oversee international compliance, and ensure policies stay aligned with evolving regulations. AI-enabled workflows and audits heavily influence daily priorities.

Qualifications

• Deep technical mastery of Canadian indirect tax legislation.
• Strong working knowledge of US and international tax frameworks.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous tax regulations and translate complex texts into business actions.
• Experience leading tax authority audits and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end global indirect tax processes for a growing multinational.
• Review commercial contracts and establish appropriate indirect tax positions.
• Lead audits and tax authority inquiries with minimal business disruption.
• Own Canadian GST/HST and other return filings; oversee international compliance and policy alignment.
