We are seeking a Global Head of (m/f/x) Statistics for Oncology HEOR/HTA in our Canadian affiliate (remote work possible in Canada). This role involves:

  • Overseeing all statistical activities related to HEOR and HTA across global, regional, and local levels within the Oncology portfolio, collaborating with global partners and stakeholders.
  • Defining and executing the vision, strategy, and operational plans for the Statistics team, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards, managing audits, and leading departmental performance and team development.
  • Partnering to develop data strategies leveraging primary and secondary data sources, fostering internal and external collaborations to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Key qualifications include extensive experience in pharmaceutical statistics, leadership skills, expertise in HTA/pricing, and proficiency in project management and vendor oversight.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading strategy and portfolio management for Statistics in Oncology HEOR/HTA.
  • Managing development, execution, and quality of all statistical activities, including study design, analysis plans, and interpretation.
  • Building and leading a high-performing team, managing resources, and ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing vendor relationships, budgets, and timelines to deliver high-quality results.
  • Driving innovation and operational excellence in statistical methods and processes, aligning with industry standards and best practices.
Personal skills and experience:
  • Minimum 12 years in industry statistics, with at least 5 in pharma and 3 in evidence generation.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related field (PhD preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of oncology, RWE, RWD, and HTA/pricing activities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 15%).
