We have created a new senior leadership role, Head of Global System Integrator (GSI) Alliances, to lead our business development and partnerships with these key players in the global tech sector. As the publisher of Ubuntu and a leading open source provider, we are expanding into the enterprise market where GSIs deliver significant operational and tactical capacity. We aim to grow our investments in these alliances, which have successfully delivered next-gen private cloud, container, and public cloud solutions with Canonical Ubuntu.

Reporting to the VP of Global Alliances and Channels, the Global Head of GSI Alliances will lead a team, develop strategic go-to-market initiatives, and work closely with GSI partners throughout their sales cycles to make Canonical a trusted partner for open source solutions at scale. The role involves ensuring our solutions are embedded in GSI digital transformation platforms and building trusted relationships at executive levels to increase market share and attach rate.

The responsibilities include owning GSI partner strategy, forecasting, bookings, revenue, leading team growth, building strategic relationships, and guiding product offerings from management to marketing, scaling through global sales support.

Ideal candidates will have experience in alliance and indirect sales, GSI sector expertise, strong commercial acumen, leadership and presentation skills, knowledge of open source, Ubuntu, and Canonical’s competitive landscape, data-driven decision-making, and a proactive, disciplined approach.
