LRO Staffing is assisting a client in Ottawa to find a Director of Finance & Operations. This full-time role leads financial strategy, accounting, and governance for a globally engaged not-for-profit with donor and government funding.

Qualifications

• Completed education in Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent stream.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance in a Senior role.
• Experience in international Not-for-Profit sector and with government funding.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger and accounting duties.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate budgeting and financial forecasts; analyze variances.
• Oversee local and international project financials and cash flow.
• Liaise with donors, government grants, and Global Affairs Canada.
• Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and reporting to stakeholders.
