Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar focus.
• Lawyer or accountant desirable but not required.
• Highly tech‑oriented person capable of understanding complexities of SaaS.
• Practical experience, preferably in financial services, tax industry or equity compensation.
• Fluency in both oral and written English is required; additional languages are assets.
• Knowledge of Shareworks is an asset, particularly platform configurations and client implementation.
• Knowledge of Equity Edge Online tax tables an asset.
• Team player mentality and place high value on building strong relationships.
• Process focused, organized, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Comfortable delivering presentations to audiences at all levels across different media.
• Demonstrated competency with common technology and technical concepts, including SaaS, Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Become the expert of the Global Intelligence Platform and equity compensation platform tax tool functionality to support clients’ share plan compliance.
• Implement new clients as per their contracted services and products – including working closely with clients to understand their needs, rules and policies, and implement their sites to accurately reflect them.
• Serve as the first point of contact when onboarding new clients and provide training, which includes: explaining product functionalities and capabilities, demonstrating product set up and educating on how to maximize benefits from using the platform.
• Share client requirements and market trends with the Global Intelligence team so that they can communicate trends to the Development team for addition into the Shareworks development roadmap to ensure Shareworks remains a disruptive force with leading technology in the regulatory, compliance, and tax space.
• Manage client relationships by answering general queries about use of the platform within the time frame outlined in our service level agreements.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full understanding of Global tax legislation, tax rules, and mobility rules.
• Use knowledge of tax legislation, tax policies and mobility rules to build and refine information on the Global Intelligence Platform and in Shareworks.
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and professional contacts through participation and/or attendance in industry events.
