Job description

Sokin is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Global Director of Enterprise Partnerships focusing on enterprise clients within the Payments & FX space. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships across key global markets to drive growth, enhance our product offerings, and expand our international footprint. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payments and foreign exchange landscape, a strong network of industry connections, and a proven track record of forging high-value partnerships in existing and new territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute an international partnerships strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on expansion, revenue generation, and market penetration.
  2. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, payment processors, fintech companies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  3. Drive growth and innovation by leveraging partnerships to enhance our FX and payments capabilities, including cross-border transactions, remittances, and multi-currency payment solutions.
  4. Lead contract negotiations and establish mutually beneficial agreements that align with the company’s strategic priorities.
  5. Develop and lead an international team to cultivate partnerships and drive local market expansion.
  6. Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
  7. Work closely with internal teams including Product, Compliance, Legal, and Sales to integrate partner solutions and enhance customer experience.
  8. Track and report on key performance metrics related to partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  9. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building brand credibility and expanding industry influence.

Key Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience in sales partnerships, business development, or strategy within the payments, FX, fintech, or financial services industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of international payments, foreign exchange, and cross-border transactions.
  3. Proven track record in securing and managing high-value partnerships in a global environment.
  4. Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives.
  5. Deep understanding of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management in international payments and FX.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  7. Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a results-driven mindset.
  9. Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
