Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Risk Assessment and Regulatory Obligations within GBM&T Central Compliance. The role drives global CRCA cycles, NIRA, and TPRM processes, while overseeing issues management and triennial regulatory reviews to ensure completeness and alignment with controls.

The position emphasizes data-driven improvements, AI-enabled workflows, and collaboration with regional teams, First and Second Line stakeholders, and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field.
• Post graduate degree (MBA) or CFA considered an asset.
• Experience with AI tools to enhance program efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive GBM&T Global Central Compliance CRCA quarterly and annual assessment cycles with stakeholders.
• Lead New Initiative Risk Assessment (NIRA) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes.
• Oversee regulatory compliance monthly Issues Management reporting and related requests.
• Execute Triennial Reviews of regulatory obligations and validate mappings to controls.
