Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Compliance & Certification Engineer III to lead certification and compliance activities for new water heating products and related components. You will define scope, coordinate with internal teams and third-party labs, and prepare agency submissions to ensure listings meet ANSI, UL, CSA, EN, IEC, and other standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in certification/compliance.
• Master’s degree preferred with strong regulatory knowledge of safety standards.
• Experience with ANSI, UL, CSA, EN, IEC and related schemes.
• Knowledge of product labeling, listing and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification and compliance activities for new products.
• Collaborate with Product Development, labs and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare submission documentation for agency approvals.
• Maintain current product listings and compliance records.
• Support risk assessments and design reviews for safety and performance.
