Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Manager to lead credit execution for International Banking - GBM, overseeing onboarding and ongoing monitoring of a global FI portfolio. You will liaise with Risk Management, Legal, Tax, Finance and Trading desks to ensure timely credit decisions and risk controls across regions.

The role requires strong credit analysis, ISDA/CSA knowledge and experience with trading documentation, plus excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple countries’

Qualifications

• Banking experience in credit or execution roles.
• Exposure to Latin America, Europe or Asia is an asset.
• Knowledge of credit analysis and lending practices.
• Familiarity with ISDA/CSA and trading documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to manage a multinational counterparty portfolio.
• Strong risk management and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing credit and execution support for marketers and traders.
• Serve as primary contact for onboarding and maintenance of IB GBM FI relationships.
• Monitor market developments impacting credit quality and perform ad-hoc analysis.
• Oversee counterparty risk reports and coordinate with risk, legal, tax and finance teams.
