Job summary

Scotiabank in Mississauga seeks a Manager, Global Design & Standards for Global AML to design and implement standardized investigations practices. You will drive quality control, training, and capacity planning while aligning with regulatory expectations across regions.

Your role partners with AML Investigations and business units to foster consistency, manage risks, and enhance operating models with evolving AML/TF controls and case management knowledge.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with AML, risk, or related experience.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder influence in matrix environments.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements in AML/TF contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and implement AML Investigations standards across regions.
• Ensure quality control, monitoring, and reporting of investigation activities.
• Develop investigator training programs and support capability development.
• Collaborate with AML Investigations teams and cross-functional partners on process improvements.
