Global Account Executive- Energy/Resources

Wipro’s Energy, Manufacturing, & Resources Sector provides industry leading IT services and solutions to global clients. We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Account Executive (GAE) to be based within the Toronto metro area (Calgary-basedcandidates may be considered on exception). The GAE is a specialized sales lead who will be the lead the strategic account(s) and have deep comprehension of the industry domain. The GAE will be a seasoned relationship builder at the C-Level of the client organization and originate opportunities for Wipro. This role is primarily sales focused and will be solely responsible for the strategic planning of the account and achieving growth targets and ownership of the Profit & Loss metrics of the account(s).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • End to end sales management of the account and all executive relationships within it
  • Management of the account P&L (greater than $30M US)
  • Leading accountto achieve exponential account revenue growth targets
  • Identifying, prioritizing and qualifying the sales of future services and large transformation projects
  • Structure high value/ strategic & large dealsfor the account and leverageindustry domain and technology knowledge to identify upcoming disruptions
  • Developing strategies, tactics and leading change management for the account, with the aim of achieving exponential growth and share of wallet
  • Manage the C-level relationships within the customer
  • Be a trusted advisor and partner to the customer executive team
  • Tracking and communicating status against defined goals and targets for client teams.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to further the account/sell new business
  • Managing the complex operational activities on the account

Qualifications:

  • At least 15+ years of experience in pitching, presenting, and selling IT Portfolio Services to CXO level clients in Energy, Resources, and/or Utilities domain.
  • Progressive background as a direct P&L owner and growth agent, ideally having managed at least a $30M+ client portfolio.
  • Broad range of selling various IT Services portfolio across client service lines; including Cloud, Data, Analytics, Infra, Applications, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and others.
  • *Specific experience selling AMS, Infrastructure, and/or Security solutions is highly preferred.
  • Has most often exceeded sales targets on revenues, bookings, and operating margins.
  • Robust knowledge of global delivery model and methodologies to partner with offshore teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with other teams in various service lines and anchor together for the account.
  • Understands how to create and grow relationships to work closely with senior customer IS team (CIO, VPs, and Directors) to suggest, advice, evaluate, and prime business growth.
