Glazier

Crystal Glass is an all-Canadian, employee-owned company established in 1949. We are the largest glass company located across Western Canada with 51 retail, 12 warehouses and 2 manufacturing locations and growing. We provide great opportunities to all of our employees.

General Duties:

The Glazier’s primary job is to service the residential and commercial needs of our Crystal Glass customers. A Glazier’s duties include repairing and installing glass in various types of residential windows and commercial window systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Use and maintain all applicable Safety and PPE as required by Crystal Glass.
2. Perform pre-work inspections.
3. Have knowledge of Safety and building codes regarding glass and glazing installations.
4. Competent with installations in residential and commercial settings, including sealed units, doorlites, commercial storefronts, heavy shower glass, and mirrors.
5. Work at different heights with ladders, scaffolds, man lifts, etc.
6. Be proficient with the use of power tools and numerous hand tools.
7. Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
8. Physical fitness is considered an asset; job may require lifting up to 75 lbs.
9. Work in a team environment.
10. Have a valid driver’s license.
