Glass Installer - Glazier

Location: 7935 128 ST. Surrey, BC V3W 4E7

Salary: $35.00/hour, 40 hours per week

Terms: Permanent, Full-time

Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Determine type of glass, frames, and materials required
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
• Measure, mark, and cut glass
• Position and secure panes in frames
• Prepare tenders and quotations
• Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
• Repair glass doors and structures
• Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding and rigging
• Estimate costs and materials
• Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

Work environment

• Outdoors
• Physically demanding, standing for long periods, bending, crouching, kneeling

Tools/equipment

• Steel-toed safety boots

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma
• 1-2 years of experience
