The GIS Analyst will be based on-site in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area, compiling, managing, and analyzing spatial data to support projects. You will create GIS databases, maps, and visualizations, conduct analyses, and ensure data quality while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Proficiency in GIS and GIS analysis on real-world projects.
Hands-on experience with GIS applications and tools.
Strong data management for spatial and tabular data.
Analytical skills for interpreting spatial data and supporting decisions.
Post-secondary education in geography, environmental science, geomatics, or engineering.
Ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python or SQL) for GIS.
Familiarity with mapping standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

Compile, manage, and analyze spatial and non-spatial data to support projects.
Create and maintain GIS databases, maps, and spatial visualizations.
