Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a GIS Analyst to join the Canada team. As a GIS Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality geospatial solutions for projects that positively impact natural and built environments. Working with our broadband team, you will support design and asset management projects with technical expertise and data analysis. From managing specialist components to coordinating workflows across digital technologies, you will help ensure projects meet financial, quality, and timeframe objectives while exceeding client expectations. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to innovative solutions that help shape sustainable outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing spatial data, preparing maps and exhibits, and supporting the integration of GIS technologies and solutions into project deliverables. With your expertise, you will also help guide junior team members, ensuring technical excellence and fostering professional growth within the team.

Qualifications & Experience:
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in geospatial analysis, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, IT, Environmental Science, or a related field. You will have at least four years of post-graduate experience working with GIS technologies, visualization software, or other relevant systems, and may also hold certifications that demonstrate your expertise.
Your advanced proficiency in GIS applications and related desktop tools will enable you to navigate complex datasets with ease, while your research, data gathering, and analytical skills will help you deliver insightful solutions. Effective interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to build collaborative relationships and guide team members, while your excellent time management abilities will keep projects on track.
Ideally, you will have relevant vocational qualifications, such as GIS certifications, and a proven track record of working collaboratively in fast-paced environments. You will thrive in situations where you can manage small teams, contribute to innovative solutions, and deliver results that exceed expectations.
