Job description

The Global Compliance Testing Team is recruiting for a Manager in the Canada Segment team who is analytical, organized, and efficient with a background in audit or compliance. The candidate should also be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and make well thought out decisions.

Position Responsibilities :

1. Plan compliance reviews using a risk-based approach
2. Analyze and test the completeness and effectiveness of key business controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements (as per the Global Compliance Testing Methodology)
3. Incorporate data analytics in select testing performed
4. Set up control testing scopes and engagements and document the design and operating effectiveness of key controls in Archer
5. Communicate weaknesses in key controls to Management and make value-added recommendations for improvement to properly manage and mitigate compliance risks
6. Document results of testing in a clear and concise report, detailing the scope of testing, work performed, results, issues noted, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
7. Enter issues and corrective action plans in Archer
8. Ensure proper follow-up of the implementation of corrective actions by the planned target date
9. Support/Supervise Anti-Money Laundering QA testing for the Canadian Market and Group Functions performed by the Manila Integrated Compliance Services team
10. Collaborate with Audit Services, Risk, and other Canadian Market BU Compliance teams

Required Qualifications :

• University degree in Commerce or Administration
• Professional designation in accounting, preferable
• Minimum five years of experience in internal/external audit or compliance in a Financial Institution

Preferred Qualifications :

• CAMS designation is an asset

Salary range is expected to be between

83,250.00 CAD - $149,850.00 CAD
