Why Join the Customer Service Team?

Reporting to the Director, Service Network and MRO Engineering, you will be responsible to manage a portfolio of Designated Overhaul Facilities (DOF) contracts and to build a strong collaborative working relationship with all levels of hierarchy within the DOF organizations. You will be responsible for the renewal or addition of licenses or contracts for the network.

As the Account Manager, you will be monitoring the performance of your licensees and be the escalation point to support and help challenges arising from the different business units doing business with your DOFs.

You will take an active role in the strategic elaboration of the 5 years plan, looking at the capacity, proximity, customer choice and any strategic elements that can influence the growth of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul network.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Responsible for the management of P&WC’s Designated Overhaul Facilities (DOF)
  • Responsible for entire projects with significant scope and complexity
  • Application of expert knowledge based on experience that extends across multiple disciplines
  • Contributes to the department or business unit by applying their advanced knowledge of one or more functional areas
  • Discipline lead point of contact for matters specific to assigned DOF accounts
  • Co-ordinate and work closely with internal organizations on aftermarket focused matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships and develop a trusted advisor relationship with business partners
  • Knowledge of contractual structures and management activities; negotiations, renewals, enhancements to terms & conditions and prepare business professional including commercial letters
  • Support the development of the aftermarket strategy/model in support of transformational activities in support of customer requirements while respecting existing contractual commitments
  • Implement aftermarket service network strategy/model with Customer Service

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor degree with over 10 years' experience in a similar role
  • General knowledge of aviation products and technologies (asset)
  • Advanced level of knowledge on contract management and negotiation
  • Effective organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional business related skills including the ability to develop business strategies, models through advanced analysis/interpretation of intel/data
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of management including executives and able to present complex information to various audiences
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint), CRM and Power BI

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
