Job summary

Bell is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting Systems & Finance Transformation to lead system integrations, drive process efficiency, and shape the roadmap for our financial platforms. You will collaborate with IT, Operations, and Finance, overseeing testing, data flows, and governance while guiding a high-performing team.

You will drive automation, AI, and continuous improvement initiatives, partner with stakeholders, and influence leadership with strategic financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent finance experience is asset.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, information systems/IT or related areas.
• ERP Implementation Project experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as Finance Lead for initiatives involving S/4HANA Retail and SAP BW, including automated revenue/COGS recognition.
• Serve as liaison between IT, Ops, and Finance, coordinating requirements and overseeing testing.
• Advise stakeholders, analyze financial data flows, and support strategic decisions.
• Lead process optimization, automation, AI, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to long-term SAP financial platform roadmaps and governance.
• Own Finance-side support of key platforms and ensure governance.
• Enhance financial processes, data quality, and reporting capabilities.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing team.
• Support emerging priorities across Accounting Systems portfolio.

The Accounting Systems team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager to be a part of the Controller organization’s transformative journey towards becoming trusted and valued business partners delivering Financial Results in an entirely new way through best‑in‑class people, processes and innovation.

As the Senior Manager, Accounting Systems & Finance Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in leading system integrations, driving process efficiency, and shaping the future roadmap of our financial platforms. Supported by a dedicated Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Finance Leadership: Act as the Finance Lead for key initiatives involving S/4HANA Retail and SAP BW, including the SvA solution for automated revenue and COGS recognition.
• Finance-IT Integration: Serve as the primary liaison between IT, Operations, and Finance, coordinating business requirements and overseeing testing to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
• Business Partnering: Advise stakeholders, analyze financial data flows, and support strategic decision‑making.
• Finance Transformation: Lead process optimization, automation, AI, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Systems Roadmap & Evolution: Contribute to the long‑term vision and roadmap of SAP financial platforms.
• Platform Governance & Support: Own Finance‑side support of key platforms and ensure effective system governance.
• Process & Data Optimization: Enhance financial processes, data quality, and reporting capabilities.
• Compliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain a strong control environment and support internal and external audits.
• People Leadership: Develop, coach, and lead a high‑performing team.
• Portfolio Adaptability: Support emerging priorities across the Accounting Systems portfolio as business needs evolve.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent finance experience is considered an asset.

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, Information systems/IT or related areas.
• ERP Implementation Project experience is an asset.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with S/4HANA in a retail organization, SAP BW, and similar financial systems is considered a key asset.
• Experience with Project Management is an asset.
• Experience with automation, AI, machine learning, or data analytics tools is an asset.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
