Job summary

Bell is seeking a Senior Manager for the Financial Close Controller team in a hybrid role based in the Toronto area. The role focuses on leading end-to-end finance process design, the close, and governance while leveraging AI-powered solutions.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration, mentor teams, and transform processes to deliver accurate financial results and strategic insights for Bell’s stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• CPA designation or equivalent finance experience is considered an asset.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in similar accounting role.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, documentation and implementation of finance processes for transitory activities with external parties.
• Oversee financial close processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness and strong controls.
• Analyze and present financial information to drive value-add decisions.
• Provide guidance on new transactions, projects, and accounting standards with governance.
• Review accounting for contracts, policies and complex transactions.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled solutions to transform close activities.
