Job description

Relevant to the Vice President of Finance at CC Packing, the / the Finance Manager is responsible for managing the accounting team, preparing financial and regulatory reports, budgeting and forecasting, and establishing procedures and internal control policies.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and mentoring the accounting team, ensuring their professional development and achievement of team objectives;
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure consistent financial management across the company;
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating all operational accounting functions;
  • Managing the collection and reconciliation of financial data necessary for accurate consolidated financial results;
  • Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements;
  • Coordinating activities with external auditors;
  • Providing management with essential information for informed decision-making;
  • Managing the budgeting process;
  • Assessing current accounting activities, recommending improvements, and implementing new processes;
  • Developing and monitoring company performance metrics;
  • Supervising regulatory obligations, including tax planning and compliance;
  • Consolidating group divisions;
  • Preparing quarterly presentations.

The ideal candidate profile includes:

  • University degree in accounting, finance, or business administration;
  • Professional CPA accounting designation;
  • Minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience in finance and accounting, including 5 years in a supervisory role;
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to present financial data clearly;
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel);
  • Leadership, rigor, organizational skills, and team spirit.
