Relevant to the Vice President of Finance at CC Packing, the / the Finance Manager is responsible for managing the accounting team, preparing financial and regulatory reports, budgeting and forecasting, and establishing procedures and internal control policies.
Main responsibilities include:
- Supervising and mentoring the accounting team, ensuring their professional development and achievement of team objectives;
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure consistent financial management across the company;
- Planning, directing, and coordinating all operational accounting functions;
- Managing the collection and reconciliation of financial data necessary for accurate consolidated financial results;
- Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements;
- Coordinating activities with external auditors;
- Providing management with essential information for informed decision-making;
- Managing the budgeting process;
- Assessing current accounting activities, recommending improvements, and implementing new processes;
- Developing and monitoring company performance metrics;
- Supervising regulatory obligations, including tax planning and compliance;
- Consolidating group divisions;
- Preparing quarterly presentations.
The ideal candidate profile includes:
- University degree in accounting, finance, or business administration;
- Professional CPA accounting designation;
- Minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience in finance and accounting, including 5 years in a supervisory role;
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to present financial data clearly;
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel);
- Leadership, rigor, organizational skills, and team spirit.
