PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- The management of the assigned projects and/or cases.
- Adherence to the general company processes.
- Telephone support : Implementing call-center programs, including providing support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies. Focus areas include funding and access issues, compliance programs, and liaising with healthcare providers.
- Administer and adhere to case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, patient follow-up, compliance, therapy monitoring, adverse event reporting, and communication with healthcare providers.
- Conduct pharmaceutical and biotechnology market research with physicians, patients, pharmacists, or other health professionals.
- Document all activities in the program-specific database.
- Participate in ongoing training and specialized courses as deemed necessary.
- Provide feedback on protocols, databases, and inter-departmental processes.
- Communicate clearly with managers and colleagues regarding case management during absences.
- Assist in training new caseworkers through shadowing and call monitoring.
- Report all adverse events to the relevant departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Typically requires a two-year associate's degree or equivalent experience in fields like business, sales, marketing, or computer sciences.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical field is an asset.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry.
- Familiarity with automated warehouse systems.
- Strong business, financial, analytical, and mathematical skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Problem-solving and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to interact daily with English-speaking customers, patients, and team members.
