POSITION DESCRIPTION

REQUIREMENTS

Position Title: Bilingual Territory Sales Manager

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Location: Working Remote Quebec - Grand Montreal Area

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager (TSM) represents Smucker’s Away From Home (Foodservice) products, programs, and services throughout the Montreal area, Western Quebec, North, and Ottawa. Primarily focused on the Coffee category, this role will work with foodservice operators in Healthcare, Gaming, Accommodation, and other channel segments. Using a collaborative sales approach, the TSM will work closely with Smucker’s internal teams (Marketing, Equipment & Service, National Account Managers) and external partners (Foodservice Broker, Distributors, National Account GPO representatives) to retain and grow Smucker’s business in their territory.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Organize, plan, and execute assigned territory coverage through in-person and remote/virtual customer calls
  • Achieve targeted business results utilizing new account development and a 'retain and grow' strategy
  • Lead the sales process from start to finish (customer discovery, presentations, equipment recommendations, installation support, training, and follow-up)
  • Work with industry partners, effectively involving Smucker’s Sales, Broker Sales Teams, Distributor Sales Representatives, and National Account / GPO Sales Teams
  • Prepare and lead customer presentations, product/equipment demos, coffee tastings, and product cuttings
  • Complete administrative duties accurately and timely (CRM, Equipment Orders, Sales Reporting, Expenses)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Combination of relevant experience and education
  • Minimum 2+ years Foodservice or Hospitality Sales Experience
  • Beverage & Healthcare Industry Experience considered an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and relationship skills to manage a diverse client base and interact efficiently with all levels inside and outside the organization
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently from home, in the field 3+ days per week, and travel as needed (up to 10-20% overnight travel per month)
  • Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Must be bilingual (French/English)
