Job Description

The assistant store manager reports to the store manager and helps create a collaborative environment that promotes inclusion and positive relationships. To ensure the store's success, you will lead and guide the team to achieve sales and profitability goals. You will also participate in recruitment, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to adapt to various situations, environments, challenges, tasks, and schedules is essential to your success.

A Typical Day (What You Will Do Daily)

  • Ensure the store meets company objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Manage the store by distributing tasks effectively (company policies and procedures, loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling).
  • Contribute to recruiting, managing, developing, and training passionate candidates in sales, customer service, and fashion.
  • Implement marketing strategies while maintaining a clean, consistent, and welcoming environment that encourages shopping.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with the store manager and district manager.

Qualifications

Profile (What You Will Bring) :

  • One to two years of experience leading a team or supervising in a customer experience-focused environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive them to success through excellent sales results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Salary : $42,000 - $49,000 (may be higher based on experience)
