Stantec in Ottawa is seeking a Field Technician within Geotechnical and Materials Engineering, performing field and lab QA/QC monitoring and testing services for soils, concrete, aggregates, and paving mixtures.
You will travel to sites, inspect investigations, and work with engineers to ensure accuracy of reports. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, long hours, and CCIL/CSA certification; a Diploma in Civil Engineering Tech and Ontario driver’s license are preferred.

We are currently looking for a Field Technician within the Geotechnical and Materials Engineering department for our Ottawa office. As a member of our team you will work closely with an impressive team of engineers and technologists, primarily performing field and laboratory QA/QC monitoring and testing services.
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Some time will be spent in a typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
