Your Contribution

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will collaborate with the Geotechnical team. Your main responsibilities include :

  • Applying and promoting Englobe’s health and safety rules;
  • Managing and delivering geotechnical investigations and analyses for engineering studies related to foundations, including static, seismic, and dynamic loadings;
  • Working on infrastructure projects such as sewer and watermain replacements, pipelines, telecommunication towers, highways, bridges, and railways;
  • Assessing slope and earth structure stability, tailings dams, hydrogeology, stormwater facilities, and conducting in-situ testing;
  • Instrumentation, construction inspection, and laboratory testing;
  • Providing leadership and mentorship within the engineering team;
  • Preparing technical proposals and engineering reports;
  • Engaging in business development, client communication, and project management.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering;
  • Additional coursework or a Master's degree in geotechnical or foundation engineering is an asset;
  • 6+ years of solid geotechnical engineering experience;
  • Experience with site investigations, foundation design, slope stability, and construction review (asset);
  • Current registration with MTO's RAQs for foundations and tunneling disciplines is an asset;
  • Registration with PEO;
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
  • Well-organized, proactive, and capable of managing a team of engineers and technicians;
  • Strong commitment to occupational health and safety.
