TRE ALTAMIRA is seeking a junior to intermediate Geospatial Analyst to join our Geospatial Solutions team in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will apply your GIS and coding skills, technical knowledge, and communication skills to prepare geospatial datasets, professional reports and presentations for delivery to our clients, all while working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll be Doing
- Using your GIS skills, our internal tools and scripts to critically assess InSAR data, perform quality control procedures and deliver added value InSAR products to meet the needs of clients
- Using your technical background and GIS skills to prepare clear professional reports and presentations that incorporate critical thinking and spatial data analysis
- Managing multiple projects, including timelines, stakeholder communication, and deliverables, simultaneously with accountability to commitments
- Providing outstanding service to build lasting, professional relationships with clients
- Employing your advanced coding knowledge to automate internal procedures, prepare scripts, and streamline workflows
- Liaising with the data processing team to prepare InSAR data sets to meet internal standards and client expectations
- Supporting the sales and marketing team by preparing figures, presentations and other support material

Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Desktop software
- Post-secondary education in Geomatics, Earth Sciences, Engineering (Geotechnical, Geological, Civil, Mine, Petroleum), Remote Sensing or other related disciplines
- Proven work habits, including attention to detail, and organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, including technical report writing, presentation skills and fluency in written / spoken English
- A focus on client satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and deliver client presentations
- Knowledge of remote sensing
- Competency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google Enterprise
The following skills are an asset
- Applied programming skills (Python, Matlab, SQL, C#) with a demonstrated ability to automate work processes
- Familiarity with programming libraries (Arcpy, Geopandas, GDAL, RSGISLib, NumPy, Matplotlib)
- Technical background in the field of Engineering, Geology or Remote Sensing
- Knowledge of mining, oil & gas or civil engineering sectors
- Knowledge of InSAR
- Knowledge of geodesy or surveying techniques
- Additional languages in French, Spanish, Italian to interact with our clients and other offices
