Job summary

Suncor Energy in Calgary is offering a student work term starting in January 2027 for undergraduate engineers with a mining, geological or civil major. You must be returning to full-time studies after the term.

The program provides meaningful experience, a dynamic student community, mentorship, senior leadership exposure and relocation support where applicable. Terms can be 4, 8, 12, or 16 months with opportunities in Calgary, Fort Hills (fly‑in) and Fort McMurray.

• This is a/an 4, 8, 12, or 16-month term commitment beginning in January 2027.

• Potential locations for these student roles include Calgary, Fort Hills (fly in fly out) and Fort McMurray (Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo).

• Students who live and work in Fort McMurray are eligible for a cash allowance to address the cost of living and the remote nature of the region.
