Eyeline in Vancouver is seeking a GenFX Lead, a senior technical and creative artist bridging shot-level execution with department supervision. The Lead is responsible for the day-to-day creative and technical quality of a group of GenFX Artists, ensuring work meets production standards while tackling the most complex shots with AI-assisted and traditional VFX techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in high-end VFX (Film/Episodic) with at least 1 year in a Lead role.
• Advanced Nuke compositing with camera projections, 3D compositing, deep compositing, and sequence management.
• Proven experience designing gen workflows including ControlNet stacking, LoRA, and temporal coherence.
• Strong knowledge of Maya/Houdini/Blender for blocking and 3D/AI workflows; USD/Alembic preferred.
• Proven mentoring ability and workload management.

Responsabilités

• Set the visual quality bar for sequences or shot groups; translate director direction into artist briefs.
• Own hero shots and complex work requiring advanced setups and generative approaches.
• Troubleshoot integration between AI-generated and traditional CG/2D elements.
• Review daily work; provide constructive feedback and ensure notes are addressed.
