Basin Solutions is building a network of generator service technicians for upcoming roles across Alberta, focusing on diesel and natural gas generators. The work involves installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing standby and prime power generator sets, transfer switches, and control systems.

Most positions are field based with time at customer sites, and some include on-call rotations. A strong candidate will have hands-on generator experience and the ability to work independently in

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience servicing industrial or commercial generators.
• Strong diagnostic skills across engines, electrical systems, and controls.
• Experience with automatic transfer switches and load bank testing.
• Heavy Equipment Technician, Electrician, or related trade certificate is an asset.

Responsabilités

Basin Solutions is building a network of generator service technicians for upcoming roles with clients in power generation, oil and gas, and commercial sectors across Alberta. If you know diesel and natural gas generators inside and out, we want to talk.

These roles focus on installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing standby and prime power generator sets, transfer switches, and control systems. Most positions are field based with time at customer sites, and some include on call rotations.

What we’re looking for

• Several years of hands‑on experience servicing industrial or commercial generators
• Strong diagnostic skills across engines, electrical systems, and controls
• Experience with automatic transfer switches and load bank testing
• Heavy Equipment Technician, Electrician, or related trade certificate is an asset
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a clean abstract
• Comfortable working independently in the field, including in Alberta winters
