Job summary

Planview seeks an Intermediate Software Engineer to design, implement, and test features for a generative AI platform in Vancouver, collaborating with senior engineers and data science partners. You will help turn AI insights into practical tools that support our Value Stream Management offerings.

You will build scalable services using Java, Spring, React, and cloud services, applying modern design principles and DevOps practices to deliver reliable software for Planview's AI-enabled products.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Java and its idioms.
• 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 1+ years with React and Spring.
• 1+ years of working with relational databases.
• 1+ years of experience with LLMs (e.g., Claude Sonnet).
• Experience in a DevOps environment and modern coding practices.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test features for a generative AI platform.
• Collaborate with Product and Data Science teams to leverage AI insights.
• Develop scalable services using a modern tech stack.
• Contribute to AI-enabled product enhancements and reliability.
