Job summary

GEI is seeking an AI Engineer to develop AI solutions using pretrained models, Copilot technologies, and Azure-based tooling. You will build, deploy, and integrate AI capabilities into business workflows with a focus on security, scalability, and maintainability.

You will collaborate with solution architects and platform teams to productionize AI solutions, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with GEI standards across use cases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering, incl. 1 year building Generative AI apps.
• Experience with Generative AI LLMs and domain-specific tuning.
• Proficiency in Python or PySpark, plus SQL or R.
• Experience delivering AI/LLM solutions, preferably on Azure.
• Familiarity with Azure AI library APIs and Databricks tools.
• Knowledge of Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch; security in AI solutions.
• AI ethics, bias mitigation, explainability, and responsible AI.
• Azure or Databricks certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI-based solutions using pretrained models and Copilot tech.
• Design prompt flows, plugins, and orchestrations for Copilot Studio.
• Integrate AI capabilities into business workflows and apps.
• Securely integrate enterprise data sources and APIs.
• Maintain and optimize Power BI dashboards for AI workflows.
• Instrument AI solutions for telemetry, reliability, and cost control.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for deployed AI solutions.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies with architects/platform teams.
