Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a General Worker for the Northern Zone at Colchester East Hants Health Centre. This casual relief role supports Environmental Services CEH and includes flexible shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) to maintain clean, safe patient and staff areas.
The position requires Grade 12 or GED, good communication skills, and preference for prior housekeeping experience and French language abilities.

The General Worker cleans and services their assigned areas to ensure safety, health and morale of patients, visitors and employees. The general worker assists patients’ recovery by helping to provide a clean, attractive, safe environment with minimal interference to others. This position may require some handling of infectious materials (with proper Personal Protective Equipment) and may require frequent contact with water and strong cleaning/disinfecting chemicals.

$20.74 - $21.56 Hourly
