Job Title: General Warehouse

Department: All

Reports to: Supervisor / Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:

Essential Functions:
  • Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to use electronic devices such as tablets, radios, scanners, etc.
  • Basic math skills, including counting, adding, and subtracting quickly and accurately.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and support safety programs.
  • Able to comprehend oral and written communication to read labels, tickets, and other documentation.
  • Become proficient with Warehouse Management Systems, RF, and Voice directed picking.
  • Perform assigned general housekeeping duties.
  • Report all accidents, injuries, near misses, and hazardous conditions immediately to management.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments as needed.
  • Assist in other facets of production and work at different workstations as required.
  • Conduct work safely and adhere to safety methods.
  • Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable and flexible to work in other areas as needed.
  • Meet production standards within required time frames.
  • Perform material handling functions accurately and with quality.
  • Move products by hand or with manual pallet jacks.
  • Move materials to and from loading docks, trucks, storage, and processing areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • One year of general warehouse/material handling experience preferred but not necessary.
Physical Requirements:
  • Stand and walk up to 8-10 hours a day.
  • Repetitively reach up and out.
  • Push/pull up to 25 pounds repeatedly and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.

Work Environment:
