Winpak Ltd. is seeking a General Warehouse associate responsible for receiving, storing, picking, labeling, palletizing, and shipping finished goods on a 100% onsite production floor in the Murray Industrial Park.

You will perform weekly safety inspections, pre-shift equipment checks, and maintain inventory records with a teamwork-focused approach. The role emphasizes precise order fulfillment, adherence to safety, and effective communication across all levels of the operation to support

Competenze

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Certified forklift license; demonstrated ability and experience in the safe operation of electric forklifts and pallet transporters.
• Proficient in the entry of computerized inventory.
• The General Warehouse position is 100% onsite, working on the production floor.
• We are located in Murray Industrial Park. There are limited bus services to this location.

• Pick orders, attach labels, palletize picked goods, stretch wrap pallets, weigh material for shipment, check picked orders for correctness, and stage picked orders for shipment.

• Sort and stage pallets to be shipped in planned loading sequence and assist Truck Loader.
• Perform daily housekeeping activities to support a clean warehouse and environment, and complete checklist when assigned.
• Complete weekly safety inspections when assigned.
• Preform pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the department and Company. Interact with all levels of the operation in support of Winpak’s TQI program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Formazione
