Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Kitchen General Utility Worker at Fire Lake Camp Amen in a remote camp setting. The role offers a 14 on/14 off rotation schedule, with an hourly wage of CAD 21.65.

Transportation to the site is by air from Wabush Airport and is fully covered by Aramark. You will assist with food preparation, dish handling, kitchen cleaning, housekeeping, and safety compliance while supporting operational needs and emergencies as required.

Qualifications

• Must be versatile and adaptable.
• MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certification is an asset.
• Previous experience in a remote camp environment is an asset.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation
• Wash, transport, and store dishes and kitchen equipment
• Clean the kitchen and camp facilities
• Unload food and kitchen-related supplies arriving by train
• Assist with housekeeping duties throughout the camp
• Respond to emergencies when required
• Ensure that food hygiene and sanitation programs are followed
• Support operational needs as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Aramark Offers 14 Days On / 14 Days Off Rotation Schedule

After 40 hours worked, the next 30 to 40 hours are paid for a time-and-a-half.

Aramark provides a transportation allowance, and access to the site is by air travel from Wabush Airport. Air transportation is fully covered by Aramark.
