Aramark is hiring a Kitchen General Utility Worker at Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke. This role supports the Food Services Department with food preparation, station setup, and service operations in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The position offers various shifts, immediate start, and emphasis on safety, sanitation, and customer service. Bilingualism is an asset; training and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation is an asset.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general food preparation in the kitchen.
• Prepare workstations and ingredients for service.
• Participate in meal service operations.
• Ensure proper food rotation and storage practices.
• Assist with receiving and putting away orders.
• Clean and maintain service areas.
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure portion sizes meet requirements and that food quality complies with Aramark standards.
• Support the implementation of food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and health programs.
• Participate in the general upkeep and cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Follow all established safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Position: Kitchen General Utility Worker

Location: Bishop’s University
2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1Z7

Salary: Starting at $17.00/hour, to be discussed during the interview

Schedule: Various shifts available, including days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends. Schedule details will be discussed during the interview.

Start Date: Immediate
