Job summary

Aramark Ottawa is seeking a General Utility Worker to maintain the cleanliness of dishes, equipment and the work environment. You’ll support sanitation, safe practices, and orderly storage while contributing to guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintain clean dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report any issues to management.
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Assist with receiving and storage of food (Freezer, Fridge and Dry Storage)
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety, sanitation and storage
• Ensure security of company assets
• Other tasks as need to help smooth operations

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting(minimum 50lbs), bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Security Requirement

This position is located within ahigh‑security corporate facility. To meet mandatory federal background verification standards, candidates must have:

• Lived in Canada continuously for the past ten (10) years.
• The ability to complete and a pass a federal security clearance (typically 6-7months)

This requirement applies to all personnel working on‑site and is necessary to obtain security clearance.

A monetary bonus is awarded for the successful completion of the clearance process.
