Aramark is seeking a General Kitchen Helper for Hydro-Québec in East Baie-James. The role includes on-site meals, private accommodation, and air transportation from Bagotville or Rouyn-Noranda airports, with a 70-hour work week and overtime after 55 hours.

The wage is 22.97 CAD per hour, with increases after the 300-hour probation and under the current collective agreement. You will join a team focused on safety, cleanliness, and efficient kitchen operations in a remote camp environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

ARAMARK is seeking General Kitchen Helpers for Hydro-Québec, East Baie-James.

Aramark offers a 15/13 work rotation schedule.

Transportation is provided by air from the Bagotville and Rouyn-Noranda airports.

Employees are provided with meals and private accommodation. Washer and dryer facilities are available on site.

Position: General Kitchen Helper

Location: Hydro-Québec, East Baie-James

Wage: $22.97/hour

The wage will be increased in accordance with the collective agreement in effect after the successful completion of the 300-hour probationary period.

The schedule consists of 70 hours per week. Overtime hours worked beyond 55 hours per week are paid at time and a half.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wash, transport, and store dishes.
• Perform cleaning duties.
• Maintain the kitchen and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation as required.
• Ensure cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a remote camp environment is considered an asset.
• WHMIS certification is considered an asset.
