Job Description
The General Repair Technician III is responsible for operating facilities, including mechanical and supporting systems, performing inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, and routine services on mechanical equipment and other systems. The technician must work according to established processes and comply with environmental, health, safety, and fire protection standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide observations on facility conditions and suggest repairs or enhancements.
• Perform maintenance and inspections on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring uptime and asset integrity.
• Respond to service requests, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and monitor systems through walkthroughs.
• Operate facility systems and manage work orders from dispatch to completion, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Assist in implementing preventative maintenance programs and document deficiencies.
• Enhance occupant experience by ensuring reliable operation of building equipment and minimizing disruptions.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors, escalate issues as needed, and maintain stakeholder communication.

Knowledge & Skills

• High school diploma plus trades training/certification or licensing.
• Experience with HVAC, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems maintenance.
• Knowledge of facility operations, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and building systems.
• Strong safety mindset and client-service orientation.
• Understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Effective communication and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, be on-call, and follow safety policies including PPE use.
• Valid driver’s license.
