The role involves performing maintenance and repair on non-technical facility components, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and responding to service requests. The General Repair Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repair, routine and on-demand services on non-technical facility components (i.e., general handyman work such as walls, floors, etc.). The Technician is also responsible for performing work in accordance with established processes and practices and for complying with internal and external requirements including, but not limited to, environmental, health and safety, fire protection. This opportunity is for a roving technician in the Kamloops region.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school education
JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years
This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $29.13 - 34.27 per hour. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
