Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Calgary is seeking a dedicated Medical Radiation Technologist I to perform general radiography and CT procedures. The role requires interpreting requisitions, preparing patients, and producing high-quality diagnostic images for review by physicians and radiologists.

You will work across general radiography, portable exams, mobile and surgical suite imaging, and fluoroscopy as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program.
• Active or eligible for registration with ACMDTT.
• Current BCLS-HCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography and CT procedures as required.
• Interpret physician requisitions, prepare and assess patients, and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assist with equipment care and maintenance; support fluoroscopy when required.
