Job summary

Aerotek in Brampton, ON is seeking a Production Worker for a Day Shift to help manufacture world-class power quality products, including harmonic filters, transformers, auto-transformers and data center power equipment. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes safety, accuracy and teamwork on a small plant floor with 15+ staff.

You will perform material handling, assist with assembly, read blueprints, and use hand and power tools on the line.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of material handling experience.
• 1+ years of production work experience.
• Mechanical and electrical capabilities.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with other warehouse or production duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position requires flexibility for both day and afternoon shifts. The afternoon shift runs from 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM, with training provided during the day for 2-3 weeks. You will work in a small site with over 15 employees on the plant floor, where teamwork is essential. The facility is well-lit but may be a bit dusty. Candidates should be comfortable working in smaller environments and eager to learn the electrical aspects of the job.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brampton, ON.

Pay and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
• Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
