The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practitioner with a specialization in Obstetrics (GP-OB) to join our team. As a GP-OB at our midsize community hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive primary care services to patients while also managing obstetric cases. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the health and wellness of our community through a combination of general practice and obstetric care.

Our dedicated team serves a diverse catchment area, including Midland, Penetanguishene, Township of Tiny, Township of Tay, Christian Island, Georgian Bay Township, and Springwater Township. With a population base of 55,000, surging to over 150,000 during the peak season, GBGH stands as a healthcare cornerstone for our vibrant community. Our services span acute care, rehabilitation, complex continuing care, and Level 3 intensive care unit, with exciting plans on the horizon, including expansions to diagnostic imaging and mental health beds, and a new hospital facility.
