Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking Masters or PhD‑level researchers to join our remote AI training collaboration. You will design and solve advanced problems, contribute to AI reasoning improvements, and collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to push model performance.

This fully remote hourly contract offers flexible scheduling (10–40 hours/week) and the freedom to work independently while delivering rigorous, publication-worthy work across multiple disciplines.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers who want to do meaningful, intellectually stimulating work on their own schedule.

Who You Are

• Holder of a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a top university
• Proven track record in research, publications, or complex technical project management
• Exceptionally clear written and verbal communicator with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently and asynchronously
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI evaluation systems
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
• Cross-disciplinary expertise or experience solving problems outside your primary field
• Familiarity with AI tools, language models, or machine learning workflows
