Highline Mushrooms in Leamington, Ontario is seeking a permanent, full-time Packaging Associate. You will weigh, sort, wrap and pack mushrooms, and rotate through the Packaging Department line positions, while keeping the packing area clean and safe.
Responsibilities include scanning, loading, stacking, prep and cleaning the line, and reporting unsafe conditions. You will follow GMPs and quality standards and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment.

Responsible for weighing mushrooms to the appropriate quality specifications, loading the line, sorting and packing mushrooms. Also responsible for stacking and wrapping skids and keeping the packing room clean and presentable for safety.
Weighs, sorts, wraps, and packs mushrooms
Rotates through various positions on the line and various work areas throughout the Packaging Department
Scans, loads, stacks, prep and cleans the line as required
Performs any other duties that may be assigned as required

Develop and actively foster an engaged work force, displaying professionalism at all times
Adheres to the Safety Policies, including use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment
Reports unsafe conditions immediately to the Supervisor
Reports all incidents, injuries and near misses to the Supervisor immediately
Cooperates in the Early and Safe Return to Work Program if an injury or medical illness requires accommodation
Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) as trained
Adheres to all quality standards per customer specifications
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be eligible to work in Canada for any employer, without restrictions.
Any 5 days/week
Public Holidays / Weekends as scheduled
2 weeks rotating shifts: 5:30am-3:30pm, and 3:30pm-1:30am; Must be able to work rotating shift
$17.60-$18.16 Hourly
Premium of $1.00 of the hours worked after 5:00pm
