Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Cowansville, QC is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver excellent customer service, maintain a well-organized sales floor, and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area.

You will greet customers, assist with product selection, help locate merchandise, and ensure a safe, clean store environment with compliance to policies. Evening/weekend availability is required. Starting pay is $18.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products, helping locate merchandise and resolving concerns.
• Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support by maintaining floor coverage and coordinating with colleagues to meet customer needs.
• Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery by keeping areas clean, moving merchandise to proper locations, and recovering items from various store areas.
• Stocking and Modular Execution by stocking, downstocking, protecting products, and setting modulars and shelf caps.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance by upholding a safe, clean, hazard-free environment and following store policies.
