Why is this role important:

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will provide excellent customer service and demonstrate leadership by managing employees and planning effectively.

What you'll do:

  1. Provide efficient and courteous customer service, acting as a role model.
  2. Resolve customer complaints effectively according to guidelines.
  3. Lead by providing positive resolutions to customer and team concerns.
  4. Encourage employees to take ownership of their performance and development, with regular follow-up.
  5. Communicate with internal colleagues to improve business results.
  6. Coordinate with buyers on inventory needs and supervise merchandising efforts.
  7. Promote sales of equipment and services through personalized advice and consultation.
  8. Manage inventory materials and stock levels.
  9. Plan and execute store events successfully.
  10. Recruit and evaluate candidates to meet staffing objectives.
  11. Schedule staff efficiently to enhance productivity and profitability.
  12. Train staff continuously to meet company standards.
  13. Implement security and safety programs to protect assets and ensure safety.
  14. Pursue succession planning for employee development.
  15. Ensure staff are aware of safety and emergency procedures.
  16. Support store operations, policies, and procedures.
  17. Promote a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche : $49,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year. Compensation may vary based on experience, knowledge, and geographic location.
