Walmart Canada is seeking a General Merchandise Associate in Oshawa, Ontario. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain an organized sales floor, and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area.

The role involves assisting customers, merchandising, stocking, and ensuring safety and cleanliness on the floor. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

This position is ideal for individuals looking for an engaging role in customer service or retail while making a positive impact on the customer shopping experience.What you'll do...WHAT YOU'LL DODeliver an Excellent Customer ExperienceProvides friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.Sales Floor Coverage and Team SupportCovers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage when required. Communicates with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained and customer needs are met.Merchandising, Zoning, and RecoveryZones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.Stocking and Modular ExecutionStocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.Safety, Cleanliness, and ComplianceMaintains a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
